Halloween Baby!

So it was my 30th on Halloween and I thought I would share a few pics with you. My day started off with breakfast in bed and a pile of pressies thanks to the wonderful animator hubby!!


then thanks to Avi, we went the Auckland Zoo and met Ozzy the Sumatran Tiger in his den and while he stayed in there we put some things in his enclosure for him to play with


then we hand fed the red pandas!!!


and after that had a ghoulish mexican feast with family and friends!


I really had one of the best birthdays ever!! I was freaking out all week about turning 30 but maybe it's not so bad after all!

This is my new tattoo!! It's a portrait of Jim Morrison done by Dean at Sacred. We have another session or 2 until it's finished and I can't wait!!

Tyson Mcadoo

Here's a lil something I finished today. The original design was drawn by an AWESOME artist called "Tyson Mcadoo" you should check him out he is totally rad. This is the first time I have had the pleasure of tattooing one of his pieces and I am totally stoked! I only hope I did it justice!

Oh my goodness! So my friend City and I (she is the nz cupcake queen check out her blog in my links) decided that we really needed a regular craft event so thought "hey why don't we start our own!" So we have! It's called Kraftbomb-it's an explosion of crafty goodness!! So I have been furiously sewing things to have ready for the first Kraftbomb! I have been making purses, hairclips, magnets, keyrings, lil geeks and squeekers on top of making some geeks for the Plush It and Plush You plushy shows coming up real soon AND tattooing people....oh my goodness....

My foggy morning!

I absolutely love foggy mornings! I become like a little kid on xmas morning! As soon as I wake up and see that it's foggy I start yelling out "It's foggy, it's really really foggy, babe come look outside (imagine angry sleeping husband trying to get just that little bit of extra sleep) it's foggy!!!!!!"
And skipping usually ensues! And I ALWAYS run outside and take photos, so here are some from this morning!!
